Zamansky LLC Investigates Malachite Capital Partners LP

The law firm is investigating Malachite Capital Partners LP (“Malachite”) for possible fraud or breach of fiduciary duty to investors.   Due to recent volatility and losses, Malachite announced it was liquidating its fund.  According to SEC filings, Malachite’s managers trade variance, forward variance and volatility swap agreements, as well as equity derivatives.  In the Covid-19 stock market crash, volatility-based swaps suffered enormous losses according to news reports.
